It's been announced that the featherbook will run a cut-down version of Mac OS X used in the Apple iPhone.

Dell in Dallas

News that Dell will be opening a store in Dallas! Dell has never had a store. Why now? It is reported that you not be able to walk home with a laptop in your hand if you visit the store but what you get to do is to actually see the products, order it and it will be sent to your home. Hence, no inventory in the store. Dell is not abandoning the strategy of selling direct to the customers. Actually when I was in Abu Dhabi last year, I walked into a electronics store and there were Dell PCs and laptops stacked from ground up. Dell may be selling direct to the customers but in Abu Dhabi, e-commerce is still not commonly used so the retailer still has to sell Dell in their shop. I wonder how much more you will have to pay for a Dell PC/Laptop if it is stocked in a retail outlet in Abu Dhabi.
